The foundation for being in right relationship
Clear expectations and accountabilities enable us to keep the work “out front” and focus on being in relationship for the purpose of creating and sustaining a thriving organization. In addition to fulfilling the accountabilities of assigned roles, we expect all CRR Global team members to show up in support of a generative and deliberately development culture.
That means:
- We bring our values to life on a day-to-day basis. This includes practices such as opening each meeting or conversation with a check-in that reflects on our values.
- We apply our methods and approaches within our work. This means practicing what we teach. The tools and techniques within our programs are crucial for building and sustaining healthy relationship systems.
- We practice right relationship. This means being attuned to ourselves and those around us, building the connective tissue needed to do hard work together and recognizing when misalignment occurs – engaging in repair with courage and care.
- We continuously improve ourselves and our systems. This requires attention to what’s emerging and calling us forward – showing up as intentional learners and practitioners, developing ourselves and seeking to enhance how we work together.
- We own our part. This means having strong self-awareness, knowing when our action (or inaction) has had an impact on our collective success and openly taking accountability for repair bids.
- We operate as a team. This indicates we know our accountabilities and how they fit into the whole, upholding what the team needs from me and having each other’s back when they need support.
- We are digital natives. This requires staying abreast of technology advancements that support thriving remote work environments and enable exceptional online learning experiences – bringing forward new ways of working that promote connection, collaboration and scalability across the organization.
- We are present. This honors each other and our work. During meetings and interactions with colleagues we are prepared, grounded and engaged.
- We work in service of CRR Global. This means acting in alignment with the CRR Global mission and vision – setting aside our personal desires and agendas to support creating a long-lasting legacy of systems-inspired evolution throughout the world.
