This program brings a distinctly systemic approach to coaching supervision. Over nine months, you will work with individuals, pairs, teams, and groups. The training is comprehensive and aligns with the European Mentoring and Coaching Council’s (EMCC) standards for coaching supervision.
Like all of CRR Global’s offerings, this program draws from the principles of systems-inspired coaching.
This program combines practical coaching supervision skills with deep systems thinking and engagement with established supervision scholarship.

The Systems Inspired Supervision Model
The Systems Inspired Supervision Model sits at the intersection of practical coaching supervision skills and deep systems thinking. The program cultivates both technical competence and the capacity to work skillfully with the complexity, emotion and relational dynamics present in client systems. It emphasizes reflective practice, ethical maturity and the development of the coach as an instrument.
You’ll learn how to access the lenses of self awareness, relationship awareness and systemic awareness. The approach is ideal for those who value depth, integrity and sustainable impact.

What does coaching supervision do?
As a coaching supervisor, you act as a peer support and confidante rather than as a mentor. Coaching supervision allows your clients to reflect on what is going well with their coaching, and what they can do differently. It’s an opportunity to keep developing professionally, to consider ethical standards in tricky situations, to learn about changes in the industry, and set personal goals.
Are there prerequisites for this training program?
As supervision is based on the coach’s experiences, we recommend this course for those who have already earned their ACC or PCC credential. All CRR Global offerings involve a systems approach. If you have taken Organization and Relationship Systems Coaching (ORSC™), you will have a better understanding of how relationship systems coaching works – but if not, no problem! We tailor the learning to the needs of each cohort.
Does this program make me a credentialed supervisor?
Yes. After completing this program, you will receive a certified systems-inspired supervisor credential from CRR Global. It is important to note that completing this program is one of your first steps in becoming credentialed with EMCC Global or other credentialing bodies. You will still need to apply directly to them after the completion of the program.
Is this a new support for coaches?
Coaching supervision has been around for years, and is increasingly recognized as a valuable support for coaches. The EMCC has consistently recommended coaching supervision as part of professional practice. The ICF now requires coaching supervision as part of their credentialing process for the Advanced Certification in Team Coaching.
How does supervision evolve a coach's practice?
Over the course of this program, you will learn to support coaches to evolve themselves in three ways:
Quality – improving the quality of the work that they do with their clients and client organizations.
Development – continuing to develop personally and professionally, as they grow their capacity and continually harvest learning from the challenges of their practice.
Resourcing – working from ‘source’ rather than from effort, considering how they can sustain themselves and their practices, and increasing their resourcefulness and resilience.
How does the EMCC define coaching supervision?
The EMCC defines coaching supervision as “the interaction that occurs when a [coach] brings their [coaching] work experiences to a supervisor in order to be supported and to engage in reflective dialogue and collaborative learning for the development and benefit of the mentor or coach, their clients and their organizations.”
Supervision develops the competence and capability of the coach, provides a supportive space to process the experiences they have had when working with clients, and encourages professional practice related to quality, standards and ethics.
