Fernando has a dual degree in Management and Technology from the Wharton School and the School of Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania. Before founding Bridgespace, Fernando was at Medsite Inc. (now part of WebMD) where he bridged technology and business teams.

Having lived in Mexico, Toronto, New York, Hawaii, Munich, Brazil, and Chile, Fernando is comfortable operating in different cultures. He speaks English, Spanish, Portuguese, and German.

Having seen his family’s business painfully deteriorate as a result of family relationship conflict, Fernando was called to help others avoid the same fate. As his interest in relationship systems grew, he took the ORSC Fundamentals course back in 2002 and was fascinated by the innovative methods available for resolving relationship issues and creating more powerful teams and partnerships.

According to Fernando, innovation and creativity live at the margins of our everyday minds, or at the group level, outside mainstream thought. By skillfully bringing to the center that which is at the margins, ORSC allows us to find often-surprising solutions to our toughest challenges.

It keeps reminding us that thinking as one whole can accomplish more than a group of separate pieces. In the end this is the most important insight. Nothing is as exhilarating as working in an environment that values every one of us and every aspect of ourselves.
Some of his clients have included: Microsoft, Exxon Mobile, Avanade, as well as smaller companies.
