Organization & Relationship Systems Coaching (ORSC™)
What is ORSC?
Organization and Relationship Systems Coaching (ORSC™) is a globally recognized, integrated model for coaching teams and relationship systems. Participants complete a structured five-course series, after which they are considered ORSC Trained. Those who wish to deepen their skills can continue with the mastery-level ORSC Certification program.
What is different about ORSC training?
Instead of coaching individuals, Organization and Relationship Systems Coaching works with the system as a whole. Using a systems lens helps in navigating the complexity of interconnected systems.
The model incorporates ideas from modern psychology, systems thinking, and coaching. Relationship Systems Intelligence (RSI™), an awareness of the wisdom within systems, is at the core of ORSC. The training is also influenced by systems theory, process work, family systems therapy, alternative dispute resolution, quantum physics, Co-Active Coaching, and more.
Is ORSC suitable for those already certified in other methodologies, such as Co-Active and other ICF/EMCC recognized trainings?
ORSC complements and deepens other coaching methodologies rather than replacing them. Even highly trained coaches find that the powerful systems lens of ORSC helps in working with the dynamics between people, not just individuals. Since ORSC builds on existing coaching competencies, it integrates naturally with a wide range of models, expanding your ability to coach partnerships, teams, and organizations more effectively.
Does ORSC count toward ACC and PCC credentials?
ORSC is a Level 2 coach training, and was the first systems coaching model to be accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF™). It offers a simpler, supported path to ACC or PCC credentialing.
How many CCEs will I gain in an ORSC course?
You will receive 12 CCEs from the foundational course you choose (either Fundamentals or ORS@Work). Intelligence, Geography, Path and Systems Integration each provide 18 CCEs.
Do the CCEs count as Core Competency, Resource Development or Ethics hours?
All of the CCEs in the ORSC Curriculum count towards Core Competency hours.
Is ORSC training a strategic investment for organizations?
ORSC equips leaders and teams with tools to navigate complexity, strengthen collaboration and build resilient systems. By improving communication and alignment across all levels, it supports lasting organizational growth and adaptability.
Can I choose to take just one ORSC course?
All ORSC courses are designed to be taken in sequence, with each course building on the one before. Everyone begins with a foundational course—either Fundamentals of ORSC or ORS@Work. After that, you can decide whether to continue through the full series and Certification, or stop once you have the basics.
What is the difference between Fundamentals and ORS@Work?
In choosing which foundational course is right for you, consider your situation.
Do you coach couples, families, partnerships or groups? Are you are hired into corporations to work with teams? The Fundamentals program demonstrates how ORSC tools work in a therapeutic environment, from the stance of a coach working within their own coaching consulting practice. The scenarios are geared toward therapy coaching with couples, families, partnerships, group settings or executives running their own companies.
Are you an employee inside a company working with intact teams? The ORS@Work course demonstrates how ORSC tools work within organizations, from the stance of a CEO, executive, HR or OD professional working with their own teams. The scenarios are geared to help teams and companies shift to a coach-approach model within an organization.
How long do I have to complete the ORSC series?
There is no time limit for taking the courses. We generally recommend taking the next course in the series within four to eight weeks, as the content from each class builds on the next. If you do take an extended time between classes, you can assist with a course to refresh your memory. Assisting only costs you your time.
What languages is ORSC training offered in?
Thanks to our global network of partners, we offer ORSC in different languages and locations across the world. Details are available on our locations page.
Is it possible to get the package pricing and take a combination of in-person and virtual classes?
While you do need to take the courses in order, you can mix and match the formats you choose.
What are the key concepts in ORSC?
Relationship Systems Intelligence (RSI™) is the ability to recognize, understand and work with the intelligence that lives within a group, team or partnership. Building on the concepts of emotional and social intelligence, RSI focuses on the system as a whole rather than the individuals within it.
This collective intelligence or “personality” of a group, the “we” that exists between people, is called the Third Entity. In the ORSC courses, coaches access 26 tools, 17 skills and concepts and 8 systems coaching competencies to support their work with systems.
Most of my clients are individuals. Is systems coaching still useful?
Human beings are complex! Each of us is a system, with many relationships that impact our lives. We have relationships to money, to food, to work, to family, to friends and to self. Relationship systems coaching focuses on the totality of your clients, a more effective approach that encompasses all their facets, interdependencies and dichotomies.
Can we bring ORSC training directly to our workplace or team?
Yes! We offer in-house training, supported by coaches familiar with your industry. Contact us to discuss a program tailored to your needs.
I have signed up for a course but haven't received any emails! What now?
With courses in the ORSC series, you should receive several emails. Check your spam folder first, as messages do sometimes land in there.

ORSC Certification
What is the difference between the ORSC series and ORSC Certification?
The coach training begins with the ORSC series: one of two foundational courses (Fundamentals or ORS@Work) followed by four intermediate courses (Intelligence, Geography, Path and Systems Integration). The ORSC series is 14 days of training.
ORSC Certification is a 35-week mastery-level program. Coaches emerge with the capacity and confidence to coach systems of any size.
ORSC is an ICF accredited Level 2 coach training program, which offers a simpler supported path to ICF credentialing.
How long is Certification and what time commitment is required?
Certification spans roughly eight months (two semesters of four months each, usually with a three-week break) and includes weekly sessions, virtual immersion, solo study, mentor coaching and coaching supervision. Participants typically spend around three to four hours per week on solo study in addition to building their coaching hours.
100 hours of systems coaching are required to complete the program.
What credential do I receive on completing Certification?
Upon successful completion, you earn the ORSC Certified (ORSCC) credential and gain 96.5 core coach education credits through the International Coach Federation (ICF). ICF recognizes ORSC as a Level 2 training program.
Is this an in-person or virtual program?
Certification is a virtual program, supported by master-level course leaders, mentor coaches and coaching supervisors from across the world. Participants go through the training as a member of one cohort, building strong relationships with a network of coaches during the process.
What is the ROI of Certification?
Graduates of Certification are considered team coaching specialists. They master the ORSC skillset, gain comfort in coaching systems of every size, add an ICF-recognized credential, and grow both personally and professionally. Many tell us that this training changes the way they think about the world.
The process gives practitioners a unique specialization, stronger positioning in the market, and systems-level skills that enable more impactful work and results. It’s an opportunity to expand your professional network, dip into the wisdom of our experienced faculty and take a step toward leading courses for us.
Coach Supervision Training
What is the Systems Inspired Coaching Supervision program?
The program is a nine-month virtual training designed for experienced coaches who wish to become supervisors of other coaches. It uses a systems-inspired view, drawing on concepts in the ORSC model to support coaches in their professional development, reflective practice, ethical issues and self-care.
Who should consider training to be a coach supervisor?
The program is intended for coaches who are already credentialled (ACC or PCC) who want to add supervision to their service offerings. While prior exposure to systems coaching through the ORSC series is helpful, it is not required. The training is tailored to each cohort, depending on the experiences of those enrolled.
How is the program structured and what is the time commitment?
The program includes weekly virtual sessions, theory and practice elements, plus group and individual supervision all embedded in the nine-month journey. Participants work with their own clients and apply the models in real time, enabling both mastery and practice.
What are the unit credits, recognitions and credentials?
Upon completion, coaches earn 120 ICF Continuing Coach Education units (CCEs) — 92 core competencies plus 28 resource development units. You’ll also receive a supervisor credential from CRR Global, which supports accreditation through bodies like the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC).
The program was developed by Marita Fridjhon, one of the co-creators of ORSC, in collaboration with coaching supervisor Sunčica (Nuna) Getter and a global team of supervisors.
Why choose CRR Global’s Supervisor Training program over other options?
CRR Global has more than two decades of experience in training systems coaches, and was among the first to offer an ICF-accredited systems-coaching model. This supervisor training builds on that foundation. It offers a cohort of experienced peers, faculty grounded in the ORSC tradition, and a strong framework for supervision and systems work. Participants take part in virtual sessions with faculty, and are supported with online resources.
Coaches who believe in taking a systems approach will find particular value in this program.
