Cynthia Loy Darst is a pioneer in the coaching profession, an internationally recognized coach, trainer, author, and leader developer who has spent more than three decades helping people become more effective in their work, relationships and lives.
Cynthia was among the earliest professional coaches, starting with the Co-Active Training Institute (CTI) in 1992 and becoming one of its first Front-of-Room Leaders. In 1995, she was part of the small group of coaches who gathered to establish ethics and standards for the emerging profession, a gathering that led to the creation of the International Coach Federation (now ICF).
Today, Cynthia is a Master Certified Coach (MCC) and senior faculty member for both the Co-Active Training Institute and CRR Global. She works with leaders, coaches, partnerships, teams and organizations around the world, bringing a distinctive combination of depth, humor, curiosity and a willingness to provoke new thinking.
She is the author of “Meet Your Inside Team: How to Turn Internal Conflict into Clarity” and “Move Forward with Your Life.” Both were inspired by CRR Global’s Systems Geography and her years of work as an actress, coach and trainer exploring the many voices, perspectives, and strengths within each of us.
Whether she is coaching one person, developing a roomful of leaders, or working with an entire team, Cynthia’s work is grounded in a lifelong fascination with people — and in helping them discover more choice, more awareness and more of the impact they want to have in the world.
