David Wikander takes a systems and relationship-oriented approach, whether he is working with teams, couples or individuals. We are always in relationship, whether the relationship is with the many aspects within ourselves, relationships with others in our personal lives, or the relationship we have as a team or organization.
David currently works with couples and individuals, helping them foster deeper connection with self and within their relationships. Increasing our awareness of personal and relationship dynamics is the key to this work. David has spent his life mentoring leaders, working with teams and being a team leader. He has led and co-led a wide variety of workshops, including workshops for couples with his wife of more than three decades.
One relationship trap is not recognizing differences that exist, whether these differences are personal, cultural, or in our leadership style or values. Healthy relationships rely on being able to work skillfully with differences. David credits growing up in a multicultural home as an influence in his approach.
He is an ORSC-certified coach and a senior faculty member of more than 20 years with CRR Global. In addition, he is a certified Co-Active coach and a Professional Certified Coach (PCC). David truly has a Renaissance spirit, both in his training and professional experience. He graduated with a degree in humanistic psychology, practiced as a transformational hypnotherapist, taught art and river ecology in college, owned and operated a whitewater rafting company, and has worked as a personal financial analyst, a wood carver, auto mechanic and more.
No matter what endeavor David engages in, it has always been about developing more self and relationship awareness, building personal and relationship skills, and increasing the sense of empowerment.
