Fernando Lopez helps create the space for powerful collaboration. A collaborative, calm and profound listener, he has an ease in understanding the requirements of multiple stakeholders and building trust between groups. His mission is to find often-surprising solutions to leadership and relationship challenges.
Having seen his family’s business painfully deteriorate as a result of relationship conflict, Fernando was called to help others avoid the same fate. As his interest in relationship systems grew, he took the ORSC Fundamentals course back in 2002. He became fascinated by these innovative methods for resolving relationship issues and creating more powerful teams and partnerships.
According to Fernando, innovation and creativity live at the margins of our everyday minds, or outside of mainstream thought at the group level. ORSC reminds us that thinking as one whole can accomplish more than a group of separate pieces. Nothing is as exhilarating as working in an environment that values each one of us and every aspect of ourselves.
Fernando is well known for his expertise in relationship systems coaching. In addition to being a CRR Global faculty member, he is motivated by discovering innovative coaching approaches and sharing them with others.
He holds a dual degree in management and technology from the Wharton School and the School of Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania. Fernando has presented his work at international conferences in North America, Europe, and New Zealand. Prior to specializing in coaching and facilitation, Fernando was at Medsite Inc. (now part of WebMD) where he bridged technology and business teams.
In his community, Fernando is a past president of the Toronto Organization Development Network. Having lived in Mexico, Toronto, New York, Hawaii, Munich, Brazil and Chile, he enjoys operating across cultures.
