Frank Uit de Weerd is an organizational psychologist and executive coach who specializes in supporting leaders and teams to thrive in an increasingly complex, fast-changing world. He believes that great leadership is key for creating a better, more conscious and sustainable future. He also supervises coaches, supporting them to grow as professionals and human beings.
In his work, Frank blends a wide range of coaching approaches with a strong focus on reflection and experiential learning. This creates the conditions for answers to emerge naturally. ORSC and Systems Inspired Leadership form the core of his practice, recognizing the interdependent nature of our world and the wisdom of every voice. He also draws from the process work of Arnold Mindell, the depth psychology of Carl Jung, the systems approach of Peter Hawkins and Otto Scharmer and the trauma and bodywork of Peter Levine. In addition, he keeps an eye on scientific developments, particularly in quantum physics and neuroscience. This broad foundation enables him to tailor his approach to what serves his clients best.
He holds a master’s degree in organizational psychology and brings more than 25 years of international executive experience in human resources with Shell. His career has included assignments in Gabon and Malaysia, parts of Europe including the Netherlands, Belgium and UK), and extensive exposure to the Americas.
Frank holds several coaching certifications, including ORSCC, and trained as a systems-inspired coaching supervisor with CRR Global. He is also a certified Jungian Analyst and NLP Master Practitioner, and is trained in a variety of psychometric instruments including Leadership Circle, MBTI, DISC, Hogan, Arbinger, Barrett Culture Transformation, and HeartMath. These experiences and qualifications enable him to hold transformational spaces for leaders, teams and coaches across cultures and contexts.
Frank co-authored Systems Inspired Leadership together with ORSC co-founder Marita Fridjhon. This best-selling book outlines how to adapt the ORSC approach as a leader.
At the heart of his work is a commitment to serve courageously with impact and resonance, trusting and tapping into the intelligence of life. He lives in the Netherlands with his wife: together, they have two children.
