7.13 Partner as a Truth Teller

Show Notes

In this episode, Sandra Cain and host Katie Churchman discuss the concept of partner as truth teller. It is only in relationship that we begin to see ourselves from another point of view. We learn about ourselves from anyone that we are in relationship with, whether a colleague or a personal connection.

The two discuss how:

  • others can serve as teachers for us in both positive and negative ways.
  • there are many ways to be in relationship with a quality.
  • it’s the moments when we are activated and begin to judge that can open our awareness to our own behaviour.
  • we can choose to step out of a cycle of blame and judgement, and instead put energy into what we are able to influence.
